Transcription:  I A. H. Williams, of Guilford County, North Carolina, do hereby revoke all wills and codicils heretofore made by me, and do hereby make, publish and declare this MY LAST WILL AND TESTIMENT in manner and form as follows:

ITEM 1

I direct my executors, hereinafter named, to pay all of my just debts and funeral expenses out of the general funds belonging to my estate.

ITEM 2

I will and bequeath all of my personal property of whatsoever kind and character to my beloved wife, Lucy Williams, absolutely and in fee simple.

ITEM 3

I will, devise and bequeath all of my real estate to my beloved wife, Lucy Williams, for and during her natural life, with vested remainder therafter in fee simple to Rosalie Holbrook and E.L. Williams, share and share alike in fee simple.

ITEM 4

I hereby constitute and appoint J.W. Holbrook and E. L. Williams the executors of this my Last Will and Testiment, and I do hereby give and grant unto said executors full power and authority to sell any property or to do any act which in their opinion is reasonably necessary for the proper administration of my estate.

IN TESTIMONY THEREOF, I , the said A.H. Williams, do hereunto set my hand and seal this, the 18th day of April, 1947.

Transcription:  In the Name of God, Amen. I Absalom Williams of the County of Edgecombe & state of North Kcarolina being in perfect health of body and of perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God:------

Calling unto mind the mortatily of my body, and knowing that it is appoined for all men once to die. Do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament: that is to say. Princepally and first of all I give and recommend my Soul into the hand of Almighty God that gave it and my Body dI recommend to the Earth. To be buried in decent Christian burial, nothing doubting but at the General Recreation I shall receive the same again, by the mighty power of God and touching such worldly estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless me in this life, I give, devise, and dispose of the same, in the following manner and form----------

First I devise that all my just debts be paid-----

I give to my sister Anna Proctor all the land that I am now possesed of & all my other property of whatsoever Demention that I now have to her and her heirs forever whom I likewise constitute, make, and ordain the whole sole executrix of this my Last Will and Testament, in witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the fourth day of October in the year of our lord one thousand, eight and two-----

Transcription:  In the name of God, Amen. I Absalom Williams of the State of North
Carolina Robeson County being of Sound and perfect Mind and Memory
(Blessed be God) do, this 13th Day of November in the year of our Lord one
thousand Eight Hundred and Twelve make and publish this my Last Will and
Testament in Manner following, that is to Say.

First I Lend to my _ wife Sarry Williams all my Lands that I possessed and
all my Negros that I possessed; all my horses, Catttles, Sheep and Hogs
(Except two thousand weight of Pork to be Sold) and all
(marking?/working?) tools; one iron bound Cart; Household and kitchen
fountains and all the crop to hir during hir widowhood.

I give to my son Gilles Williams all my Lands and three Negro fellows
James Joe and Donald one Negro woman named B__ek and first choice feather
bed and fountains and all my (marking?/working?) carpenter tools.

I give to my Daughter Christian Wame all the mony that my Negro fellow
William fetches when Sold agreeable to Lend after my Decease and all my
Notes Book accounts and the two thousand weight of Pork mentioned as above
and all my horses bridles and saddles Cattle Sheep and Hogs Household and
kitchen (fountain?/furniture?) and all the crop one iron bound cart.

I give to my Daughter Penney Herring one Dollar; and I hereby make and
ordain my son Giles Williams and my Son in Law William Herring my Executor
of this my Last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I the Said Absalom
Williams have to this my Last Will and Testament Set my hand and Seal the
Day and year above written.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY

I, Adam A. Williams, of the aforesaid County and State being of sound mind but remembering the uncertainty of my earthly existence, do make and declare this my last will and testament.

FIRST. My executors hereinafter named shall give my body a decent burial, suitable to the wishes of my friends and relatives, and pay all funeral expenses together with all my just debts out of the first monies which may come into their hands belonging to my estate.

SECOND. I give and bequeath to my daughter, Racel Williams the place, and to my other daughters, Beulah McLesh, Lula Williams, Mary Williams, and Pauline Matthews, all of the remainder of the household and kitchen furniturre and furnishings, of every kind, that remains after the death of my wife, if my wife survives me, to be divided among them, share and share alike.

THIRD. I give and bequeath to my wife, Nepale A. Williams, all of my livestock, mu les, horses, cows, hogs, and such other livestock as I may own at the time of my death, with my farming tools, machinery and equipment, together with all my provisions and supplies, if my wife survive me, for the term of her natural life, then to my son, Roland Williams, provided that he stays with me and my wife as long as we live, and looks after us, but if he does not stay with us and look after us as long as we live, then the property mentioned in this article shall be distributed according to the terms of the residue of my estate, as hereinafter set out.

FOURTH. It is my will and desire that at my death, my executors hereinafter named, shall sell at public auction to the highest bidder, for cash, all the real estate that I may own, that I have not already given to my children, also any cotton that I may own shall be sold, and all notes, mortgages, accounts and other evidences of credit shall be collected and all those moneys together with all my cash on hand and money on deposit shall be divided equally among my wife, Racel A. Williams, if she survives me, and Beulah McLesh, Lula Williams, Mary Williams, Pauline Matthews, Paul Williams and Racel Williams and Albert Campbell Williams, andRoland Thomas Williams, being all of my children, to them, share and share alike.

FIFTH. I hereby constitute and appoint my son, Albert Campbell Wiliams, and my daughter, Mary Williams, my lawlful executors, to all intents and purposes, to execute this my last will and testament, according to the true intent and meaning of the same, and every part and clause thereof, hereby revoking and declaring utterly void all other wills and testaments by me heretofore made.
In Witness Whereof, I, the said Adam A. Williams, do hereunto set my hand and seal, this day of August, 1937.
